Couples, it's time to sign up for our 2nd Marriage Retreat at the Sea Mist Resort in Myrtle Beach!  The date is the weekend of March 23-25 and the cost will be $200.00 per couple (includes lodging, 2 breakfasts, and 1 lunch-scholarships are available). $100 deposit needed to register. The next Eternal Membership Class will be Saturday, February 11th  from 8AM – 1 PM @ Eternal Office AND Sundays February 12 – April 1st; 9:00-10:15 @ the Y during first service. If you are interested in attending, please email pathways@eternalchurch.net to sign up.   Also, if you are interested in taking the class but you know you will miss the Saturday session, please still let us know by emailing.  We are considering offering a make-up session.  That way, you could go ahead and begin attending the Sunday morning classes.

Here is a brief synopsis of the class:
We welcome you to our  Membership Class! This class, led by our pastors, educates new members on the structure, design and beliefs of Eternal Church and describes in detail what it means to become a member. This class begins with a half-day Saturday session (breakfast and lunch provided) held at the church office. Attendees will be asked to fill out a Membership Profile packet for their family in preparation for the class. The class then meets for the next 8 weeks on Sunday mornings during the early service at the YMCA. During the 8 week period we cover a variety of topics related to what it means to a part of the Body of Christ at Eternal (e.g., our theological beliefs, participating in discipleship, caring for each other’s needs, discerning your spiritual gifts, dealing with conflict, etc.).  If you have any questions, please email Andy Crissinger: andy@eternalchurch.net

Eternal will be accepting nominations for the biblical leadership offices of Elder and Deacon through this Sunday, February 5. Please read the following information carefully prior to nominating.  Training for new officers will begin in February. 

• Both the person nominated and the person nominating must be members of Eternal church. Please make your nominations by writing the name of a candidate on an info card  and placing it in the offering vase. Please be sure to include your own name (anonymous nominations will not be accepted).
   
• Prior to making your nominations, please prayerfully consider the qualifications of elders and deacons as communicated on the PDF pages linked below.
   
• The office of Elder is open to qualified men. The office of Deacon/ess is open to qualified men and women (See linked pages for more information).
